Well, we were O for 4 in wins. Fortunately, that was never what it was about. It was about telling a true story, even if we, and Daniel Woodrell, had to make it up. The Ozarks will forever be blessed, and made immortal, by this effort by a group of extraordinary writers, filmmakers and musicians who cared enough to get it right. Tonight we’ll savor the company of friends now snarling, spitting and averring in their various voices that “We’ll be back!!” And we will, in fact. In fact, the work on the next project is ongoing and gathering momentum. Thanks, thanks, incredibly heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their support both for the soundtrack and the film. Bless you. And stay tuned. We’ll be back.

You can’t ‘be back’ because in the hearts of so many you will never really be away now. It’s like the old song “Y’all come”. We will sit in our cyberspace rocking chairs on our internet porches and watch down the road…Y’all come to see us when you can.
Yeah! Watching down the road……
Thanks, Nancy. We’re on our way.
Well said, m’dear. We go into the studio April 7. A tour is in the works, and we’re trying to finagle some way of getting across the pond to become European hillbillies for a week or two. That’s all blue sky right now, but the conversation keeps popping up. I’ll keep you posted.
You have not gone away as you are still in my heart and soul, Marideth, and I am hoping your agent has the info I sent to Sarah about coming to NC. We want you here so much and hope to hear further.
I am going to order your CD for a friend who wants it and hope you will autograph it for her. I ordered mine from Amazon and sorry I didn’t get it from you.
Hang on to that CD cover, Margaret. I’ll autograph it yet. The tour is still in very early stages, and I’m lobbying for a longer travel time and more time to play smaller venues in betwixt. Stay tuned.
I think you’d do well at the Maryland Theater here in Hagerstown, MD. We’re at the very northern tip of Appalachia in what used to be a very rural area, but has now grown quite a bit. The spread has come from D.C. over the mountain just like everyone said it would.
