WE’D LOVE TO PLAY FOR YOU

–A special appeal to fans of Marideth Sisco and Blackberry Winter

Now that the movie Winter’s Bone has received four Oscar nominations, fans from literally all over the globe have been writing to ask when and where they can see the band from the movie perform in their area. That’s a wonderful problem to have, but since we’re essentially just a little gang of hillbilly musicians who’ve mostly played in our own area, we have no idea where the clubs, festivals and other venues are outside our area, and no means to contact them.
So we’re asking you to help. If you would like to see us perform in your area and/or if you know of a place we might play, let us know. If you can, please include contact information; venue name, contact person, phone number and/or web site.
Thanks! We look forward to booking an engagement near you!

Listen to Marideth sing Farther Along from the movie soundtrack.

I’d love to have you and your band play in Boise! I think a good local venue would be the Egyptian Theatre, which is an old, beautifully restored movie palace. In recent years, it’s been used mostly for musical events. Joan Baez has appeared there several times, and a few months ago, Mavis Staples performed. It’s relatively small, has great acoustics, and provides kind of an intimate atmosphere. Here’s the website; contact info is at the bottom of the page. http://www.egyptiantheatre.net/contact.htm

If I can help at all, let me know. I hope to see you all in Boise!

According to the proposed schedule, we’re going straight from Denver to Salt Lake to Seattle. Wish we had a day in Boise too. If there’s a gap in the schedule, as perhaps a venue drops out, we’ll certainly keep this in mind. I’ll pass the link on to the agent. Thanks.

hello! I book music for a small vegetarian restaurant in Blacksburg, VA. we host singer/songwriters on thurs and sat nights and offer meager guarantees, but will tip you additionally based on our restaurant sales. however, we provide a great dinner and we also put musician envelopes on the table to encourage tipping from our dinner patrons. we are a quaint little mom and pops place, open since 1974, and musicians love our cozy vibe.

love your music and so happy to have found it!

Sounds wonderful. If a space opens up in our tour schedule I’ll give you a shout. And I’ll pass the info on to the agent as well. Thanks.

  3. If you’re going to be in Seattle, can I recommend Spokane? There’s a venue perfect for you and it would be great to hear your music live. I do a radio show on a community radio station and I just played your music this morning. I’d even love to do a live interview if possible.

Talk to this guy: Wayne Larson. He’s the promoter for events at the Bing Crosby Theater.

How firm is Salt Lake City to Seattle in your schedule? Where are you playing? There is interest in Spokane? Mid week dates are hard to fill. It would be fun to see you play and grow in an appropriate way in the Northwest.

We’re still juggling all that, Wayne. We’d love to play in Spokane. I have fond memories of that city from my childhood, when we stopped to visit friends there and were served, I think, bear burger. I thought that was spectacular. I’ll pass on your addy to the booking agent.
